Description	Such bids to provide for the furnishing of: Streetscape Pedestrian Safety Bollards. Specifications and bidding blanks may be inspected and procured at the office of the Parks & Recreation Dept., 221 Main Avenue, Brookings, South Dakota. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier s check or draft for five per cent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Such check to be certified or issued by either a State or National Bank and payable to the City of Brookings, South Dakota, or in lieu thereof a bid bond for ten per cent (10%) of the amount of the bid. Such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in this State and payable to the City of Brookings. The check or bond will be retained by the City as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses or fails to enter into a contract and performance bond in accordance with the bid when notified. Payment will be made upon delivery and acceptance. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the actual opening thereof. The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. Bidder shall state Bid for Safety Bollards on lower left hand corner of the envelope.
