TYPE OF AWARD: This acquisition is proceeding as a Competitive 8a, Invitation for Bids (IFB). This project is limited to 8A firms located within the Fresno, Sacramento or San Francisco District Offices, or to an 8a firm that has a bona fide office within the Fresno, Sacramento or San Francisco SBA Districts. ALL OTHER FIRMS ARE DEEMED INELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT BIDS.


Estimated Cost Range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000

This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z299, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $31,000,000. JOB DESCRIPTION: The base contract consists of placing soil filled quarry stone on the upper and lower slopes of several erosion sites along banks of the Sacramento River and its tributaries. In-stream wood, fascines, and erosion control seeding will also be installed, along with removal and replanting of elderberry shrubs. The options include installation of plantings, plugs, beaver fencing and cages, pole cuttings, irrigation and plant maintenance.

A site visit has been scheduled tentatively on 16 JUNE 2008, 9:00 AM. Meet at the Sacramento River 53.5R in Sacramento, California

All BIDS will be due on/about 15 JUL 2008/1:00 pm PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
