JOB DESCRIPTION: The base contract consists of placing soil filled quarry stone on the upper and lower slopes of several erosion sites along banks of the Sacramento River and its tributaries. In-stream wood, fascines, and erosion control seeding will also be installed, along with removal and replanting of elderberry shrubs. The options include installation of plantings, plugs, beaver fencing and cages, pole cuttings, irrigation and plant maintenance.
A site visit has been scheduled tentatively on 16 JUNE 2008, 9:00 AM. Meet at the Sacramento River 53.5R in Sacramento, California
