Synopsis:

ISSUE DATE: 05/21/2008. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to perform boathouse corrosion repairs at U. S. Coast Guard Sector Northern New England, South Portland, ME (Cumberland County). The project consists of a Base Bide plus 1 Option providing for the removal and replacement of steel building components (girts and perlins, angles, rods) and recoating structural steel components following proper preparation, and incidental related work. Note: All work is to take place in a boat house spanning over water between two piers. This Invitation for Bids is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 and the size standard is $31.0 million. The estimated cost range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 05/21/2008. The due date for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 06/23/2008 at 2:00 pm local time Warwick, RI. A 20% Bid Bond is required.
