Synopsis:

The proposed contract action is one for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intended source is Sage International Limited, CAGE 0Y503, 3391 Eberh ardt Street, Oscodo MI 48750-1143. The items to be procured are 4,500 (Four thousand, five hundred) each of the following: the Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR) Tactical Aluminum Chassis Stock with Telescoping Buttstock, Adjustable Cheek Rest and Full Butt Pad , MFG PN B009039; the Sage Vertical Fore Grip, MFG PN B009045; and the Sage Cantilevered over-the-action telescopic sight mount, MFG PN B009053. The EBR Tactical Chassis Stock System is proprietary to Sage International. Sage International is the only su pplier that can insure inventory interchangeability of these items and the only supplier that can provide the Government with these fully interchangeable spare parts prior to the Required Delivery Date of June 2008.

Estimated issue date of solici tation is 4 April 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. There is no Technical Data available for the above items. All responsible sources may submit a p roposal which shall be considered by the agency.
