The Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate, Rome NY intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source purchase order under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 with Northrop Grumman Space & Mission Systems Corp. Command and Control Systems Division, 3200 Samson Way, Bellevue, NE 68123 for the purchase of one (1) SMART.neXt System including hardware, software, staging, support, training, and installation. Northrop Grumman is the only software developer and sole provider of the SMART.neXt system. The software is proprietary to Northrop Grumman. SMART.neXt is the only certified and accredited system of its kind listed in the DIA s Cross Domain Inventory List.
Though this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, information received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The NAICS code is 334119.
