# 8-TC 2008-370 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD
The 37th Contracting Squadron is intending to award a sole-source purchase order to Automated Business Power Inc. to purchase 15 EA: ABP-AC/DC/BT-TR-1M transceiver power unit, 7 EA: ABP-ANT-40 foldable, manpack, 200w, high gain UHF SATCOM antennae and 8 EA: ABP-ANT-25 ultra miniature, 100w, portable high gain SATCOM antennae. These items are compatible with the equipment used with existing equipment.
This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 3 June 08. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on Sole Source requirement.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25 effective 25 January, 2008 and DFARS Change Notice 20080124 , Standard Industrial Code 3679, North American Industry Classification System Code 334220 and Size Standard of 750 employees apply to this procurement.

The Government intends to evaluate and award without discussions on this procurement. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement. Quotes are not being requested and written solicitation will not be used. The justification for this sole source procurement is to continue mission support in the training fields.
