Description
THE ONLY CHANGE TO THIS MODIFICATION IS PARAGRAGH V DESCRIPTION WHICH ADDS 6 EACH WORKSTATIONS
(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with add itional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(II) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit w ritten quotes on RFQ reference number W912L2-08-T-0010.
(III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-21.
(IV) This solicitation is being issued as R FQ notification; the associated NAICS code is 334111. The size standard is 1000 Employee. This is a not a Small Business Set-a-side.
(V) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial items:
AATC is requesting a compl ete SAN solution using fiber channel components running at 10 or 4 Gig. The SAN will need to have at least 20 Terabytes storage. We require an out of the box solution that includes the SAN, rack, network cards, fiber cables, UPS, Fiber Channel Switch, LT O4, etc. This will be used a stand-alone SAN solution used to store mission data. Below items are listed as a guide for hardware required; please be as detailed as possible in your quotes:
1. Universal Rack.
2. SAN, at least 20 Terabytes sto rage with all hardware required.
3. SAN Switch with 16/24 ports, running at 10 or 4 Gig.
4. Management Software for SAN.
5. Fiber cable: 8 each 5m SW LC/LC FC Cable; IF that is the correct end for your SAN solution; 5 each FC cable, LC-LC, SW, 30 M, IF that is the correct end for your SAN solution; 5 each FC cable, LC-LC, SW, 50M, IF that is the correct end for your SAN solution; 5 each FC cable, LC-LC MM, 70M 50/125 Duplex cables, IF that is the correct end for your SAN solution.
6. 15 eac h FC1143 4GB OR 10GB PCI-X 2.0 HBA, Network cards.
7. All required licenses.
8. 4 each Hour 24x7 Same Day Hardware Support for 3 Years.
9. LTO 4 tape library with two drives, capable of holding 48 tapes with fiber channel connection with 2M LC/LC Fiber Channel Cable.
10. 100 each LTO 4 tapes
11. 8 each cleaning tapes
12. Technical Installation and startup
13. UPS for SAN
14. 6 each High Powered Workstation with 64bit: Quad Core Intel Xeon Processor 2.50GHz, 2X or Equivalent; Window s XP Professional, SP2; 512MB PCIe graphics card; 4GB of RAM; DVD ROM Only; no write capability; 2 five hundred gig SATA 3.0 hard drives; Hard drive configuration RAID 0; 3 year service contract.
15. Typical and maximum BTU numbers for the entire system .
(VI) Description of requirements are as follows: See Paragraph V.
(VII) Place of delivery is Air National Guard Air Reserve Test Center (AATC), Tucson, Arizona, 85706. Required delivery is 30 days after award of contract.
(VIII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2004), applies to this acquisition.
(IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999), applies to this acquisition. Paragraph A of this clause is completed as follows: 1) Pri ce 2) Technical Capability of item offered 3) Past Performance. Price is equal to Technical and Past Performance when combined.
(X) The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifica tions -- Commercial Items (May 2004). A copy of this provision is located at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/
(XI) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Oct 2003), applies to this acquisition.
(XII) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Jun 2004). Additional FAR 52.212-5 clauses cit ed in the clause applicable to this acquisition are (b) (14) (15) (16) (17) (18) (26) and (31), (c) (1) and (2). All offers will be treated as information only and will be considered for future requirements.
(XIII) The following clauses are als o applicable to this acquisition: 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration; 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 252.204-7004 Alt A, Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statu tes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items; including 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program, and 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests.
(XIV) The Government intends to a ward a Firm Fixed Priced contract resulting from this solicitation. The place of delivery is at the Air National Guard Air Reserve Test Center (AATC), Tucson, Arizona, 85706.
