Description
The 23rd Contracting Squadron/LGCB plans to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Extreme Cold Weather Sleeping System (ECWS) Cleaning. The BPA will be for a period not to exceed 5 years. Contractors in the area around Moody AFB, GA are preferred. Please see below Statement of Work for details on the services requested. Please submit a price list by fax to 229-257-4032 or by e-mail to william.davis@moody.af.mil All price lists must be received NLT 2:00pm EST 14 Dec 07. Please submit price list in the following format.

Sleeping Bag Cleaning
Basic unit of issue for the ECWS is:
-1 Compression Sack used to carry sleeping system
-2 Sleeping bags, (1 thick and 1 thin)
-1 Gortex Outer Shell
All Items above encompass the Extreme Cold Weather Sleeping System.
Washing Instructions
Launder sleeping bags according to use and care instructions. (Turn bag inside out, close zipper, and tie neck opening, use three ounces of commercially available quaternary ammonium softener and bacteriostat. Dry sleeping bags should be placed in a tumbler at a temperature not exceeding 130oF.)
As an alternative, the sleeping bag may be machine laundered using the delicate/gentle cycle. Use cold water and cold water laundry detergent. Rinse in clean, cold water.
After cleaning Note: Request all cleaned gear be rolled up and placed into compression sack and tagged as ?cleaned?
