The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, Alpena MI is soliciting for a non personal service to perform roads and grounds sevice. Work includes general landscaping services which includes grass cutting, using walking type or riding mowers. Trims hedges and edges around walks, flower beds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools. Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools. Plants grass, flowers, trees and shrubs. Waters lawn and shr ubs during dry periods using hose or activating sprinkler systems. Picks up or carts away leaves, paper or other litter. All work to be accomplished at the Alpena CRTC. Government furnished grounds equipment, to include hand tools and mowers are availab le. Interested contractors can obtain a copy of the performance work statement and solicitation by going to the website http://nationalguardcontracting.com or may request a copy to be emailed to them. The solicitation shall be posted to the website on or about 8 May 07. There is a site survey at the Alpena CRTC on 17 May 07 at 1:30pm Comtractors must email the contracting officer SMSgt Tim Troxell at tim.troxell@micrtc.ang.af.mil if they intend to attend the site survey. This solicitation is for a fi rm fixed price contract and will be awarded from 1 Jun 07 through 31 Dec 07.
