This modification does the following:
A. Extends the closing date to 12 Noon, Monday, January 14, 2008.
B. Answers the following trade questions:

A1.      Yes
Q2.    If so, has it been reclassified for service disabled veterans set aside RFQ-08-0067?
A2.    Yes
Q3.    Who currently has the contract for these services?
A3.    Lawrence Street Industry, LLC.
Q4.    What is the current pricing?
A4.    The per pull charge is $250.00.    The per ton charge is $60.00 per ton.
Q5.    How do we obtain a copy of the current contract with current specification?
A5.    A copy of any releasable information may be requested via a request under the Freedom of Information program.
Q6.    Can we obtain a summary of service or "quality of service issues" encountered during the existing contract?.with solutions and outcomes?
A6.    There were no summary of service or "quality of service issues" encountered during the existing contract thus no solutions or outcomes.

A7.    The Contractor awarded the contract/award will be responsible for the legal disposal of all materials. The current facility (facilities) is not listed.

A11. No, the contractor is responsible for loading and unloading roll-off containers.

A12. It is not known if the Dock was ever "unavailable" during a scheduled pickup in 2006 and in 2007.
Q13. How many times were trucks turned away because the dock was not available , in 2006 and in 2007? How many extra pulls were required in the previous year of the contract?can you provide a summary of those "extra pulls" occurrences by day of the week and number per month?
A13. It is not known if any trucks were turned away due to the dock not being available in 2006 and in 2007. The number of extra pulls is currently unknown.
Q14. What is the average waiting, unloading and loading time at the dock daily, in 2006 and in 2007? Are pick-ups "formally and specifically" scheduled and what is the time window for pick-up?
A14. The average waiting, unloading, and loading time at the dock daily, in 2006 and    in 2007 is unknown. The contractor is required to request appointments for Pick ups and they are scheduled by the appointment 'Hot-Line' and they provide the time of day for pick-up and also provide a time window.
Q15. What was the longest waiting delay time at the dock, in 2006 and in 2007?
A15. The longest waiting delay at the dock in 2006 and in 2007 is unknown.
Q16. Do the contractor's containers or transportation vehicles have to meet any specific specifications?
A16. The contractor provided container specification are as listed in the Statement of Work.
Q17. Does the transportation vehicle have to be a specific height to access the loading docks?
A17. No, but there are specification that explain vehicle height and length restrictions which are included in the Statement of Work.
Q18. With the current and future cost of energy, can the bidder add a line item for energy surcharges, per pull?
A18. This is covered under FAR 16.203-1 (b) Fixed Price contracts with economic price adjustments, which will be included in the award document.
Q19. With the ever changing security risks and concerns can the bidder add a line for security surcharges, per pull?
A19. No, See answer number 18 above.
Q20. We would like to tour the loading facility including taking of pictures. Can that be arranged?
A20. The site visit is scheduled for 01/08/2008,10 AM, submit a fax with the name (max two) company name with duns number to 202/874-2200. Request confirmation of receipt. Picture taking at the BEP is a complicated process. Permission will not happen before the site visit.
Q21. Can the bid opening be delayed until all these questions are answered and a visit is completed?
A21. The closing date is now extended to 12 noon local time on Monday, January 14, 2008.
