Synopsis:

The Department of Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS) intends to award a Sole Source Contract to Lakeview Center Inc.(NISH/Ability One Program) for Janitorial Services and Supplies.The NAICS Code is 561720. Size Standard is 15 Million, in accordance with FAR 12: "Acquisition of Commercial items" and FAR 13: "Simplified Acquisition Procedures" and FAR 19: "Small Business Programs". The contract is for one Base year and four (4) Options Periods.
The solicitation requirements will be in the Statement of Work and posted on www.fbo.gov within the next three (3) business days. The contractor shall provide all the necessary tools, cleaning supplies to include trash liners, equipment, supervisory and administrative cost, direct relative to performing the work specified in the contract, including the provision of all labor, transportation, and materials, except as specified herein as government furnished, to ensure that custodial services are performed in the entire Radiology Service-1st floor (excluding (2) MRI room), Stairwell #1-#9(floors 7th through Basement) Elevators #1 through #11, (1) set of escalators, Out Patient Clinic (OPC) and Waiting Area, Canteen Store, Canteen Kitchen, Canteen Food Court, Canteen Vending Area Dinning Area, Corridors, Gastroenterology and Pulmonary Center, Restrooms 1A-101, 1A-102, 2A-101, 2A-102, 2B-129, 2B-131, 3A-102 and 3A Lobby waiting area of The VA Health Care System here after known as the VAMHCS, Baltimore Division. The work must be performed in a manner that will maintain a satisfactory facility condition and present a clean, neat, and professional apperance. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained herein. Radiology Service-1st floor excluding (2) MRI room 22,530 square footage, OPC 22,299 square footage, Canteen Store 964.4 square footage, Canteen Kitchen 512 square footage, Canteen Dinning Area 1365.7 and GI Lab 6735 square footage, 1A-101, 144 square footage, 1A-102, 266 squqare footage, 2A-101, 137 square footage, 2A-102, 143 square footage, 2B-129, 154 square footage, 2B-132, 134 square footage, 3A-101, 37 square footage, 3A-102, 37 square footage and 3A-waiting area 233 square footage.
