Synopsis:

This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the subparts in Federal Acquisition Regulation 12 and 13 and Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number VA-248-08-RQ-0515 applies and is issued as a request for proposals. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 562211. Small Business size standard is $12.5 million. The VAMC Tampa, FL intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the services of an EPA permitted, Part B, Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF), to furnish all administrative and technical labor, supervision, equipment and materials to identify, package, label, mark, load, transport, store, recycle, destroy or dispose of hazardous waste from James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, FL 33612 and other JAHVH facilities. All proposals are to be submitted to the designated office by COB September 15, 2008.
