This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced contract to have Respite Care Services for Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, GA. The service Provider shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, supplies and management required to provide Hourly Respite Care to select EFMP qualified Army Family members. Services include basic care, supervision, companionship, personal services, and assistance with medication where needed. Services to be provided in the individual's residence, installation facilities or care givers home. Offeror shall be licensed and certified by the State of Georgia. The Period of performance is scheduled to start 01 September 2008. The NAICS code is 624190. A written solicitation will be posted o/a 11 August 2008 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The due date for proposals is 20 July 2008 2008 @ 2:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time. at 976 William H. Wilson Avenue, Building 621, Fort Stewart, Georgia 31314.
