Description
The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for janitorial/custodial services at the EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The Contractor will be expected to provide all personnel, equipment, tools and materials to accomplish the required services. The Government anticipates award of a commercial Firm Fixed Price type contract with a base year and four (4) one-year option periods. This requirement is being issued as competitive 100% HUBZone set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 19.13. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet on or about 21 March 2008. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720 and the size standard is $15M. The incumbent contractor is Pleasant Valley Cleaning of Sioux Falls, SD. An industry day, to include a site tour, will be held in regards to this solicitation at the EROS Data Center in Sioux Falls on Thursday, 03 April 2008 at 9AM local time. Notification of intent to attend the industry day must be submitted via email only to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00 PM EST Monday, 31 March 2008. The name of all participants and their contact information must be included in this email. The number of participants is limited to three (3) representatives per company. Further details about the industry day will be emailed to participants after the intent to attend is received by the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any travel or other costs associated with offerors attending the industry day. Questions about the EROS Data Center and/or solicitation document should be submitted to the Contracting Officer in advance to the maximum extent practicable. All questions received will be answered and posted to the FedBizOpps website, therefore do not submit any question that may contain proprietary information. A formal solicitation, performance work statement, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time.
