Synopsis:

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This requirement is for custodial/janitorial services for Fort Richardson, Alaska. Contract period is a one year base period (1 July 2008 through 30 June 2009 with two (2) one year option periods). The contract or will be responsible to fully execute a firm fixed price approach under a Performance Based Contract to provide labor, equipment, supplies, materials, appliances, transportation, and perform work, including work of an incidental nature in providing servi ces for Fort Richardson, Alaska. Custodial/janitorial services shall include basic cleaning of facilities, such as, restroom service and trash removal, periodic cleaning, such as floor stripping and re-waxing, carpet shampooing, high dusting and window cl eaning and emergency and miscellaneous cleaning on an as ordered basis. This acquisition is a competitive action under 100% Small Business Set-aside program. Applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561720, Ja nitorial Services, standard size $15 million. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the procedures at FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial items. Estimated date for the posting of a solicitation is on or after 14 April 2008.
