Description
The General Services Administration is seeking to identify sources to provide complete janitorial services for the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House located at One Bowling Green, New York, NY. The intended term of the contract is one-year with four, one-year options. The work includes but is not limited to interior and exterior building cleaning, window washing, carpet cleaning, trash or solid waste disposal/removal, insect and rodent control, snow removal, stripping/waxing of floors and recycling. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to meet all janitorial and related services requirements. For informational purposes only, the gross area of the building is 517,939 square feet and the occupiable gross area is approximately 203,350 square feet.
The Government intends to set aside this procurement to eligible 8(a) concerns (average annual revenue for the previous fiscal year does not exceed $15 million - under NAICS 561720). Interested 8(a) concerns are requested to submit qualifications showing evidence of their capability to perform successfully as a janitorial contractor. Please submit a list of relevant contracts (within the past 5 years) include dates, place of performance, dollar amount, and point of contact. See FAR 19.802 for eligibility as certified 8(a).
