The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) in support of the USS Shiloh CG-67 and the USS Fitzgerald DDG-62, has a requirement for Chemical Holding Tank (CHT)cleaning. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service type contract. The anticipated period of performance will be from 02 September 2008 through 20 November 2008. All work will be performed at the U.S. Navy Ship Repair Facility, Yokosuka Japan. Written requests may be emailed to joseph.lownik@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS.This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed.
