Synopsis:

The U. S. Census Bureau, National Processing Center in Jeffersonville, IN invites responsible, interested parties to submit a proposal to provide cafeteria and vending food services at its facility. The National Processing Center has a fluctuating employment level that currently numbers approximately 2000 people with a cafeteria of about 6200 square feet. The contract will provide an initial period from date of award through Mar. 31, 2009, with four (4) one year option periods. A preproposal conference will be tentatively held Apr. 08, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. local time at the National Processing Center, Jeffersonville, IN to show prospective contractors the site and available equipment. The state-licensing agency for the blind may submit a proposal in accordance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act. This is a 100% small business set-aside; NAICS code 722310, size standard $19.0 million. 1) Page 6, Section D, (A) the U. S. Census Bureau will provide a menu board and letters. (B) The Contractor will be responsible for providing a soft drink dispenser and a coffee dispenser.

2) Page 10, Section 1, the U. S. Census will provide rodent control.

3) Page 11, Section M-3, the U. S. Census Bureau will maintain the resilient tile. The contractor will be maintaining the floor from the serving line back.

4) Page 31, Section I-6, Performance Bond is changed from $50,000.00 to $25,000.00.

5) The offer due date is extended to 25-Apr-2008 at 3:00 PM local time.

6) All other terms, conditions, and requirements are unchanged.
In accordance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act the Indiana Family & Social Services Administration, Division Of Disability and Rehabilitative Services, Blind and Visually Impaired Services has exercised its right to provide Food and Vending Services to the U. S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, IN. As a result solicitation 51-SO-BC-8-00014 for food and vending services will be cancelled.
