Synopsis:

The Program Support Center, Strategic Acquisitions Service, Division of Acquisition Management, Department of Health and Human Services is conducting a competitive procurement for custodial and related services for the Parklawn Building and Day Care Center located at 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, Maryland. The Parklawn Building is a leased facility that houses various tenant agencies of the Department of Health and Human Services. The Parklawn Building is approximately 1.4 million square feet in size and includes a separate facility that is used as a day care center. This requirement is a total HUBZone small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720 with a size standard of $15 million. The anticipated release date of this solicitation is mid April 2008. This will be a Performance Based Acquisition with a period of performance of one (1) year with four (4) 12-month option periods. The anticipated date of award is FY 09. A pre-proposal conference/walk through will be scheduled for 2 weeks after release of the solicitation. All responsible parties may submit an offer which will be considered for award. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available as the Federal Business Opportunities website provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including modifications and amendments will also be distributed solely through this site.
