Synopsis:

The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to negotiate on a competitive basis for the acquisition of Bachelor Housing, Lodging, and MWR Support Services. The service provider shall furnish all personnel, supervision, management, training and other services required to operate the Bachelor Housing and Lodging Programs at Naval Station Great Lakes located in Great Lakes, Illinois. The Lodging Program consists of the Navy Gateway Inn & Suites, and is intended to provide hotel-like accommodations for official travelers. Bachelor Housing provides housing for unaccompanied personnel, including permanent party, student, recruit and transient personnel. The service provider shall also provide all maintenance, general labor and janitorial services to facilities operated by and at programs and events provided by Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) at the same location. The service provider shall provide all supervision, labor, resources, ma! terials, transportation and equipment required to perform this contract except the resources, materials and equipment that will be specified as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in the solicitation. The terms of the agreement will be for a base period of one (1) year beginning 1 October 2008 through 30 September 2009, with options for five (5) additional years.
