This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial/supply and service items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number AG-0109-S-08-0012 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far.
This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 332323.
A quotation is requested to provide

004 Delivery price, 1 lump sum
TOTAL QUOTE FOR ALL ITEMS
- Supply pultruded fiberglass grating panels, 4' X 5', as shown on attached Drawing. The intent of this specification is that the panels have a minimum of 50% open area, and a maximum open gap of 0.6 inches. Call for copy of drawing, Dean Graham, (907) 586-8746 or (907) 586-8747.
- Design loading shall be 100 lbs/sf. with a maximum deflection of 0.125" for a 30" span.
- Color shall be gray
- Walking surface of panels shall have angular quartz grit of similar surfacing for skid resistance.
- Supply stainless steel or fiberglass hold down clips designed to fasten grating to wood substructure.
- Provide shop drawings of items offered with price quote.

The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers submitted must include shop drawings of items offered.. Contract award will be made to the quoter offering the best value considering delivery schedule and price; with delivery schedule approximately equal to price.
In addition, offerors will include with their quote a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items.
