The 1st Special Operations Contracting Office at Hurlburt Field, Florida, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Routine Vehicle Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance Inspections for 46 Government Vehicles. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F2FT148259A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811191, with a small business size standard of $7 million dollars. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT
1. Forty-six (46) Government vehicles require routine service. Service includes changing of all ENGINE fluids and filters and preventive maintenance inspection (PMI) using AF Form 4354 see attachment 1.
2. All service and inpections shall be accomplished by ASE qualified mechanics.
3. The Contractor shall identify any necessary repairs detected during the PMI. Items identified shall be annotated on the PMI sheet for that specific vehicle. All PMI sheets shall be returned to Fleet Manager or designated official.
4. The Contractor shall provide all ENGINE fluids, filters and tools necessary to complete the required service and inspections.
5. The Contractor shall be responsible for disposing of all used motor oil and ENGINE fluids in accordance with EPA regulations.
6. All service and inspections shall be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida, in the 823d Red Horse Vehicle Maintenance facility.

Service to be completed at the 823d Red Horse Vehicle Maintenance Facility; 633 Independence Road, Hurlburt Field, Florida 32544, and is subject to inspection and acceptance by an authorized government official. AMENDMENT 2 of this solicitation extends the response date/time from Tuesday, 23 September 2008 until FRIDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER 2008. All responses must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. CDT.
