NOTICE
REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ)
For
SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING REHABILITATION SERVICES
(RFQ NO. CDC08-632)
Notice is hereby given that sealed quotes will be received at the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (Commission), until Monday September 29, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. for Single Family Dwelling Rehabilitation Services . This will include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Scope of Work .
Sealed quotes shall be submitted on the attached Scope of Work with a cover letter. Sealed quotes must arrive by facsimile at (323) 890-8576, in person, or mailed by the due date and time listed on this Request for Quotes (RFQ) at the address shown below:

All sealed quotes shall be labeled Rehabilitation Services for Single Family Dwelling, RFQ No. CDC08-632, Monday September 29, 2008 . Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring their Quote is received by the Commission in accordance with the solicitation requirements, before the above stated due date and time. The Commission shall not be responsible for any delays in mail or by common carriers, or by transmission errors or delays, or mistaken delivery. Deliveries made before the stated due date and time but to the wrong department/unit, will be considered non-responsive, unless re-delivery is made to the correct department/unit before the stated due date and time. Sealed quotes received after the due date and/or time will be considered late and will not be considered for award.

In submitting a sealed quote, each vendor thereby agrees, that if awarded a contract, they shall execute a standard Commission contract and forms, a sample of which is available upon request. The Commission shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any vendor who refuses to execute said standard Commission contract.
Vendors are advised that this RFQ is an informal solicitation, and should not to be construed as engaging in a formal competitive bidding pursuant to any statute, ordinance, rule or regulation.
The vendor will be required to adhere to the following requirements:
The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all sealed quotes. This RFQ is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The Commission is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondents quotes. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the Commission reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the quotes. In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, it is the policy of the Commission to assure equal opportunity to all persons, in the award and performance of any contract, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, or disability.
Contract Requirements:
Please be advised that there are insurance requirements. (Please view the Community Development Commission s website for details at www.lacdc.org - doing business with the Community Development Commission, County of Los Angeles). The insurance requirements must be submitted prior to awarding the contract.
