Ronkonkoma Station Parking Rehabilitation

The Long Island Rail Road Company ("Railroad") will receive sealed Bids for the Rehabilitation of a Parking Lot at the Ronkonkoma Station at 2:00 pm, October 10, 2008, at the Procurement & Logistics Department at 90-27 Sutphin Boulevard, Jamaica, NY 11435. The Work consists of construction services to create a parking lot on an unimproved parcel of property. Parking lot construction to include but is not limited to: demolition, grading, soil preparation, installation of a drainage system, sidewalks, new electric service, new lighting, asphalt paving, striping, landscaping and fencing.

The Bidders conference and Site Tour is scheduled for Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM. All interested parties are requested to meet at the Ronkonkoma Station. Transportation will NOT be provided, however directions will be available. Bids (including all required Schedules) must be submitted on the forms provided by the LIRR. A non-refundable payment of $350 by bank check, certified check, or money order payable to the Long Island Railroad Company is required for each set of Contract Documents.
