The Wasatch-Cache National Forest, of the United States Forest Service, located in the state of Utah has a road maintenance project. This project consists of maintaining forest development roads on the Evanston Ranger District. This includes grading road surface to correct drainage and re-establish road prism (*crowned or out-sloped), taking care to preserve any drainage structures (culverts rolling dips etc), and surfacing on roadway, including pit run surfacing. After reshaping of the roadway is completed compact road surface. Watering may be required after grading to compact finished roadway and will be paid as a separate bid item. A section of Mill Creek road will involve the cleaning and or the construction of drainage dips along approximately 2 miles of road.
The approximate posting date for the solicitation (RFQ) will be 30 April 2008, which will be posted to the www.fedbizopps.gov website. There will not be a show-me trip/site tour scheduled.
