| Opportunity Summary |
In accordance with Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 279B.075 and Oregon Administrative Rules
(OAR) 125-247-0275, the State of Oregon, Department of Administrative Services, State
Procurement Office, intends to enter into a sole source contract with Applied Biosystems
for its products and services for an initial term of 5 years with optional extensions for
up to an additional 5 years. The State reserves the right to publish subsequent sole source
notices in compliance with ORS 279B.075 and OAR 125-247-0275, for additional terms.
The sole source determination on which this Sole Source Notice is based is attached to this
Sole Source Notice and may be accessed through the "Attachment Exist" directory.
Per OAR 125-247-0275(3) An Affected Person may protest the determination that Supplies ad
Services are available from only one source.
Written protests must include:
1. A detailed statement o the legal and factual grounds for the protest;
2. A description of the resulting harm to the Affected Person; and
3. The relief requested.
Written protests must also reference the Sole Source Notice number 102-1329-07, must be
signed by an authorized representative, and must be delivered in hard copy or faxed to the
following address by December 20, 2007, at 2:00 PM. eMailed protests will not be accepted.
