DESC: The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Trompeter Electronics, Inc, 5550 McDowell Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215-9605 based on them being the only manufacturer able to maintain consistent integration and configuration required pursuant to the level of performance to function properly. Currently, the 412th Test Wing Ridley Mission Control Range is undergoing a Real Time and Post Flight Systems Upgrade to implement needed upgrades to software, hardware, recording equipment, video, audio and telemetry systems at all mission control rooms within the Ridley Range. Maintaining control room consistency guarantees each control room can be used as a backup system for another control room. Therefore, it is mission critical that materials taken from one control room must exhibit complete plug and play compatibility with the other control rooms. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334417 and the Small Business size standard is 500 employees.
