Synopsis:
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has a requirement to establish a maintenance parts and technical services program to support the Lifestream Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System Model SW6994463CNG on the National Security Cutter (NSC). The major components of the system include two Reverse Osmosis 6,300 GPD Water Purifiers. This will be an Other Than Full and Open Competition Requirement using the Lifestream Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System Support Services Contract Vendor. All labor shall be performed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified and authorized machinists, mechanics and technicians. It has been determined that only Lifestream Water Systems Incorporated can furnish the desired services and parts for the Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System and the only responsible source that can analyze all these components simultaneously. This requirement will be a base year with two option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which they will be considered by the agency. This notice replaces the Presolicitation posted on November 14, 2007.
