****ATTENTION****ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO GARRY BILLER, CONTRACTING OFFICER; via email garry.biller@us.army.mil No telephone request will be accepted. PRON: AX8F0809, NSN: 5905-01-548-2316, PN: 1-002-0102-2024, Quantity: 25 each, applicable to the UH-60 Airframe. F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX . Required delivery is 25 each 120 Days after Contract Award (DACA). This item is restricted to Avionic Instruments Inc (CAGE CODE 10933) because the design of this part is unstable. Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that the required design objectives have not been achieved. Major changes are contemplated because the part has a low process yield or has demonstrated marginal performance during tests or service use. These changes will render the present part obsolete and unusable in its present configu-ration. Limited acquisition from the present source is anticipated pending configuration changes. Adequate technical data is not available for this acqui-sition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
