Notice is hereby given that the Camden County Board of Freeholders of the County of Camden is requesting sponsorships for businesses to donate gift cards for distribution to WWII veterans at an event coordinated by the Camden County Clerk, Office of Veteran Services.

This sponsorship will offer Camden County Businesses the opportunity to donate gift cards to needy WWII Veterans. Sponsorship guidelines may be picked up at the Office of the Camden County Clerk, 520 Market Street, Courthouse, room 102, Camden, NJ 08102. For more information call 856-225-5326. Proposals must be delivered to the Camden County Division of Purchasing, 520 Market Street, Courthouse, 17th Floor, Camden, NJ 08102.The deadline to submit proposals is Thursday August 7, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Proposals received after said date will be given due consideration. All proposals must be identified with the name: Camden County Giveaway Event for WWII Veterans Donation Sponsor. Proposals may be mailed or hand-delivered only. Proposals may not be transmitted over the telephone, e-mailed or faxed.

It is recommended that each proposal be hand-delivered. The County assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail or delivery service, causing the proposal to be received later than the deadline for proposal submission.

Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible company or in any way restrain or restrict competition. All responsible individuals and companies are encouraged to submit sponsorship proposals.

The Camden County Board of Freeholders reserves the right to accept or deny any and all sponsorship proposals submitted in the best interest of the County and the Board further reserves the right to waive any defect or informality in any proposal should it be in the best interest of the County.
