Tri-Band Satellite Communications Terminal-Request For Information (RFI)
The 50th Contracting Squadron is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to determine the general availability of a tri-band satellite communications terminal. The terminal must be capable of being setup in less than 2 hours and is easily transportable via a 32' or smaller commercial trailer. The terminal is required to have transmit power of 400 Watts as a minimum. The antenna should be a parabolic design with a preferred size of 2.7 meters and shall operate in the C, X, Ku and Ka band frequencies. Ka band terminal must be easily adaptable to current AN/USC 60 pedestals/equipment. The power requirements are standard 120 Volts 60 Hz.
Responses to this RFI should not exceed twenty-five (25) pages and must contain the following information: a capability statement which includes information on the type of technology used, pricing information, service history, and a proposed delivery schedule. In their response, vendors should clearly mark any information that is proprietary. Pricing and delivery information should be based on the assumption that a purchase may be made in the fourth quarter of FY08.
Responses are due by 05 August 2008. E-mail responses are preferred. If responses are to be mailed, a notice must be sent to the Contract Specialist listed below prior to mailing.
