The project consists of repair and alteration of two anaerobic sludge digesters and associated systems and piping at Eielson AFB s Sewage Treatment Plant. Work includes the following: (1) Installation of concrete roof support columns inside the digesters; (2) replacement of manholes on top of the digesters; (3) cleaning, repair and epoxy coating the interior of the digesters; (4) demolition of abandoned concrete and steel in-tank structures; (5) replacement of the digester gas handling system; (6) major repairs and alterations of the sludge heating system, including installation of a dedicated sludge heating boiler; (7) repair of sludge transfer, sludge recirculation and supernatant piping, and replacement of associated pumps; (8) replacement of the gas monitoring system throughout the plant; (9) expansion of the plant SCADA system; (10) miscellaneous architectural and electrical repairs and alterations; and (11) hazardous materials abatement as necessary to perform the other work of the contract.
Estimated Project Cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 (based upon FAR 36.204).
The intent of this Sources Sought is to research qualified 8(a) or small business contractors with a primary NAICS code of 237110 for this upcoming acquisition. Interested 8(a) and small business contractors should submit to the point of contact listed below information regarding their company.
