Synopsis:

This synopsis is for Replacement and Installation of Air Conditioning Units at Buildings 90339 and 90063 at Hurlburt Field FL, Project FTEV 08-1087. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to provide a working system for each site location. The Contractor shall install new equipment in accordance with all building and electrical codes. The work areas in these building are secure areas and contractor will be required to have an escort while working. Work schedule will be required and followed due to escort services required for these work areas. Work at Building 90339 includes but is not necessarily limited to: Installing a new split system unit with humidity control, direct expansion evaporator coil and outdoor condensing units. Units shall be 208 volt, 3 phases. Each unit will have a nominal 2 ton unit. The contractor shall provide mechanical pads and condensate wells for each new unit. Work at building 90063 includes but is not necessarily limited to: Installation of additional 18,000 BTU wall mounted unit in server room. Contractor will mount condenser on concrete pad with wet well to collect condensate. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 15 days from the solicitation issue date. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database and complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR and complete the online representations and certification will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, recommend registering immediately to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the FEDBIZOPS web site, FEDBIZOPS for Vendors, USAF Offices, Air Force Special Operations Command-Locations, and 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron. No hard copies of specifications or drawings will be provided.
