Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil.    While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable.    Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.
This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-08-Q-2043. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Four separate rack mount chassis containing analog low pass and high pass electronic filters meeting the following specifications: Two high pass-low pass filter pairs per chassis (total of 8 pair): 1. Elliptic shape using 8 poles with 100dB or more roll off per octave each filter.
One dual low pass filter pair per chassis, except one chassis with two (total of 5 pair): 1. Elliptic shape using 8 poles with 100dB or more roll off per octave each filter. One dual low pass filter pair per chassis, for three chassis (total of 3 pair): 1. Constant delay shape (Bessel) using 8 poles with 48dB roll off per octave each filter. Requirements common to all filters: 0.3 Hz to 300 kHz programmable corner frequency range each filter. Minimum programmable pre-filter gain of ?10dB or less each filter. Maximum programmable pre-filter gain of 50dB or more each filter. Pre-filter gain steps of 10dB or less each filter.
Maximum programmable post-filter gain of 20dB or more each filter. Post-filter gain steps of 2dB or less each filter. Total available gain of 70dB or more each filter. 10 volt peak input capability each filter.
Programmable single-ended or differential input each filter. Programmable AC or DC coupling each filter.
Full 10 volt peak output with 50 ohm load each filter. At least eight channels (4 pair) in a single rack mount chassis. THD better than ?100dB each filter. Continuous time analog filters with no switched capacitor clocking techniques. Offerors must provide technical information identifying that the proposed items meet these requirements. Required delivery is 8 weeks days after award, F.O.B. Destination NUWC Seneca Lake, 50 Main Street, Dresden, NY 14441. This is 100% set-aside for small business. Size standard is 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies.
