SYNOPSIS: The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fbo.gov under the above solicitation number. We anticipate that the solicitation will be issued on August 21, 2008. Estimated construction price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Performance period is 150 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2007 code is 236210. This solicitation is a total set aside for qualified hubzone small business concerns. The small business size standard is $31 million. Bid, payment and performance bonds are required. The project work location is at U.S. Coast Guard Station Tybee, Chatham County, Georgia. The project work includes but not limited to: exterior architectural work, including removing asphalt section and replacing with concrete sidewalk and ramp; interior architectural work including removing and replacing of non-load bearing partitions and sand feathering all drywall joints smooth, while priming and painting all walls; mechanical work consisting of removing existing Air Handling Unit (AHU) and installing new AHU in Mechanical Room; plumbing work including replacement of water fountain, disconnection of existing air compressor and reconnection of new compressor to existing air drops; as well as electrical work including replacement of all interior lighting, relocation of fire alarm pull stations, bells and horns per electrical plans.
