Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Globalstor located at 9960 Canoga Avenue, Chatsworth, CA 91311. This purchase is a One Time Buy to acquire ES500 SATA JBOD 5 bay, ESATA to SATA RAID, 3.75TB s RAW, Model ES500E7, Including: 5-750Gb 7200rpm ENT RAID SATA II disk drives (QTY 4), and ES500 SATA JBOD, 5bay, ESATA to SATA RAID, 5 OTB s RAW, Model ES500E1, Including: 5-ITB 7200rpm ENT RAID SATA II disk drives (QTY 6). This equipment must be compatible with the existing system that is currently owned by the FBI. It has been determined that Globalstor is the only source to meet the FBI s requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond by submitting a quotation to include technical qualifications and experience/pricing and any other information to Mabel Comfort, Contracting Officer, to the address listed above within 7 days of this notice is published. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
