Description
This is a sources sought announcement. Reference SSA-RFI-08-1005 when responding to this announcement. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is seeking to identify qualified vendors having experience in providing consultant services for space redesign of public service offices with reception areas. Experience should focus on improving the esthetics and efficiency of offices, incorporating new technology into reception and office space, maximizing the use of available office space through a standardized, but flexible design, and ensuring the security and privacy of business conducted with customers. At a minimum, responses should include: 1) information on clients for which the vendor has provided the services (with emphasis on government agencies having multiple service offices located throughout the United States; 2) description of the scope and breadth of the study, including the number of offices surveyed for the same customer (example, a government agency with multiple locations); and 3) time period of the study. Vendors should also identify if services are available on a GSA Federal Supply Schedule, including the contract number and FSC group. Pricing should not be submitted. The closing date for this submission is 10 calendar days from the date of this notice. No FAXED responses will be accepted. This is an information gathering effort only and if further procurement action is taken, additional publication(s) will be done as required. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of ANY evaluation made from the information submitted. NO award will be made from the basis of this announcement. The information will be used in SSA assessment of capable sources. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. The Government will NOT pay for information provided in response to this announcement.
