Synopsis:

This solicitation is RESTRICTED 100% SMALL BUSINESS for commercial items prepared in accordance with the subparts in Federal Acquisition Regulation 12, 13 and 15 and Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulations as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number RFQ VA-248-08-RQ-0232 applies and is issued as a request for quotations. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 561990, size standard $6.5 million. The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) is soliciting quotations from qualified, responsible firms who have technical expertise and necessary resources to provide and perform on-site commercial secured collection and destruction of confidential documents for the following five (5) locations: (1) James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida (2) VA Outpatient Clinic (OPC) Pasco, 9912 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL, (3) VA Medical Center (VAMC) Orlando, 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL (4) DFAS Bldg, 2500 N. Lakemont Ave., Orlando, FL, and (5) VA Outpatient Clinic (OPC) Brevard, 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL from June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009 with four optional years. This solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ with an anticipated closing date of APRIL 18, 2008. No paper copies will be issued. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendment or additional information via the fedbizopps website. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award (see Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/). All offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
