Description
This requirement is to attain contractor services for Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) Food Service and Systems Analyst to provide functional and technical service support to the Army dining facilities (DFAC), Troop Issue Subsistence A ctivities (TISA), Installation Management Command Korea Region (IMCOM-Korea), and US Army Garrison (USAG) food program managers (FPM) as well as the subordinate command food service technicians and supervisors.
AFMIS is a distributed client logisti cs system that provides subsistence ordering, financial accounting, meal planning, and equipment management capabilities to the DFACs as well as operational ration ordering and management for the TISAs in each USAG.
The system provides management tools for the IMCOM-Korea and USAG FPMs as well as the subordinate command food service technicians and supervisors. This is a mission critical system originally fielded by Fort Lee in 1993. In Jul 07, IMCOM-Korea AFMIS has converted to System Change Pac ket (SCP) 14, web based.
