REVISED SYNOPSIS SUPERSEDES SYNOPSIS POSTED ON 5 JUNE 2008. Troop Medical Clinic (TMC)/Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, Texas Solicitation Number: W81K00-08-R-0021 Acquisition of Mobile Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Services. This solicitation is a 100 percent 8(a) Set Aside in accordance with FAR 19.8. The TMC at Fort Sam Houston, Texas has a need for Mobile MRI Services consisting of three MRI Systems, three personnel (two MRI Technologists and one MRI Medical Clerk), and one modular ancillary building to house such equipment, personnel and patients. The Modular Ancillary Building shall be constructed in compliance with State of Texas Code requirements for a free standing, diagnostic ancillary structure designed for ambulatory patient use only, with possible variances as requested by BAMC. The building shall be designed to provide ancillary support for three mobile MRI units, necessary patient prep, dressing rooms, waiting area, etc. and, at the request of BAMC, will include no plumbing or plumbing fixtures. The period of performance is from 1 August 2008 to 31 July 2009. This solicitation is being conducted as a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. Solicitation W81K00-08-R0021 will be issued on or about the 25 June 2008.
