USACE, Vicksburg District, Mat Sinking Unit (MSU) proposes to award a Simplified Acquisition to provide services of a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), PARAMEDIC, LPN OR RN for the period beginning on or about 07 July 2008 through 07 November 2008 in accordance with specifications for services as required. Normal work schedule will be 10 hours per day, for 12 consecutive days with two days off, concurrent with MSU schedule. Additional hours will be required if deemed necessary. The EMT, PARAMEDIC, LPN OR RPN will be on call 24 hours per day while aboard the MSU. The EMT, PARAMEDIC, LPN OR RN will coordinate with the Safety Technician aboard the MSU anytime he/she has a need to leave the MSU quarter boat complex for any reason. Three meals a day will be provided as well as lodging on the MSU quarter boats while the services are being provided. Transportation will be provided to the location of the Mat Sinking Unit from Vicksburg, MS and back to Vicksburg, MS by the government at the beginning and end of the contract and on weekends off. Offer due date on or about 31 May 2008, 1600 Hours. This procurement is issued on a small business set-a-side basis under NAICS code 621399 for a firm fixed price contract.
