Synopsis:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a simplified acquisition to be awarded to Johnson Oil Company of Gaylord, Michigan, for the purchase of diesel fuel for the Motor Vessel (M/V) Spencer F. Baird. Fuel is to be delivered to the vessel on an as-needed basis at the ports of Alpena, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, and/or Traverse City, MI. Supplier must hold all necessary permits/certifications and insurance to transport fuel on Lake Michigan. No solicitation document for this procurement exists. Any response to this announcement must be submitted within 72 hours of publication of this notice. This procurement is set-aside for small business under NAICS code 424720, with a small business size standard of 100 employees.
