Synopsis:

The 1st Contracting Squadron at Langley AFB (LAFB) VA intends to award a sole source purchase order to OnPath Technologies, 2000 Lincoln Drive East, Marlton, NJ, 08053-1557 for the following: To upgrade IGX-C to meet JITC application standards and to expand the circuit capability by adding additional hardware to meet testbed station requirements. The purchase order will contain 7 line items. 6 basic line item descriptions with 1 (one) option year. Line Item 0001; Quantity: 1 ea. Description: 2908 Central Switch Platform - 256 port, North American; AUTONEX/Ethernet Comm Links: includes: one rack mountable /O chassis with front metal door. (2) 110/208 VAC power supplies. (2) AUTONEX/Ethernet Switch Controller boards SC/2-G. (2) Chassis Boards (CC/2-G). (16) Mid Connection Module (MCM-G). (1) 2900 UFC 32 Port PIN. No SEF's P/N: 68-960( for application up to 2.125 Gbps). TSS and VC1000 Control Systems Upgrades. Upgrades the TSS software to the latest version to support the (2) 2700's and the new 2908 P/N: 68-435. VC-1000 Upgrade to the latest Software, up to 4 users , 2700, 2800 and the 29XX Switches P/N: 46-530-4. Line Item 0002: 1 ea. Description: 2900 UFC 32 Port for 1 and 2 Gig Systems, No SFPs included. Line Item 0003: 64 ea. Description: SFP; Optical transceiver; Variable rate; MM; 850nm; no digital diagnostics P/N: 68-954. Line Item 0004: 6 ea. Description: SFP; Optical transceiver; Variable rate; SM; 131 Onm; Short Reach P/N: 68-952. Line Item 0005: Custom Belden Cabinet blue in color. Cabinet measures 78"Hx24"Wx36" Enclosure. Including (1) Frame, 3 pair 19" mounting rolls (10-32 tapped), casters and levelers, and ground lug. (1) Corrugated perforated steel door w/swing handle and lock. (63% open area for maximum air flow). (2) 4'16 outlet strip surge suppressor, 15' power cord UL listed (1) Pair of side panels (1) Grounding Buss Bar, rack mountable. Note line item 0005 is a non-cancellable /non returnable item due to the custom nature of the order through Belden. Line Item 0006: 2908 Installation and Maintenance: Year 1 Warranty Overview: OnPath warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period begins on the date of OnPath product shipment and extends for a period of 13 months. During the warranty period customers are entitled to 7X24 OnPath phone support and factory replacement of defective parts at no charge. Factory Replacements are shipped for next business day delivery. Period of Performance: 1 Jun 08 to 30 June 09. Line Item 0007: Option Year (Maintenance Only): Maintenance includes: 7X24 telephone and on site-support with 4 hour response time. Next business day replacement of spare parts. Free Software upgrades for the duration of the agreement terms for Engineering enhancements and diagnostics. This item will be funded if 2009 option is exercised. Period of Performance: 1 July 09 to 30 June 10. End Item Descriptions. This is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm fixed price purchase order. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified item, they must respond to this notice before 1200PM EST on 29 May 2008. If no responses are received by the above date, sole source procurement with OnPath Technologies will be pursued.
