The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) located at Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The NAVAIR Information Technology/Information Management (IT/ IM) Department, Customer Services and Operations Division (AIR-7.2.4) has an intention to procure on a competitive basis on the software maintenance services for the Sun StorEdge Maintenance System bought in 2006. This FFP contract has a Base year plus two (2) Option Years. The Base Year starts from 7/1/2008 to 6/30/2009, Option Year 1 (7/1/2009-6/30/2010), and Option Year 2 (7/1/2010-6/30/2011)
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) numbered N00421-08-T-0088.
PROPOSAL PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: To ensure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, offerors must comply with instructions contained herein. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this RFQ. The response shall consist of price.
BASIS FOR AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror whose quote conforms to this solicitation.
(All quotes must be for all items as stated, no substitutes will be accepted and partial quotes will not be considered). Only firm fixed price offers will be evaluated.
All proposals shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Cetifications Commercial Items. Proposals should be submited via E-mail. The Government reserves the right to reject all proposals received after the closing date and time.
