The VA Medical Center Sheridan, Wyoming Contracting Officer intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with McKesson Provider Technologies, 500 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township, PA 16066, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain:Connect RX Server. Acudose Main Cabinets configured with appropriate drawers for determined medication capacity. Acudose Small Cabinets configured with appropriate drawers for determined medication capacity. Accudose Supply Tower configuration. Datastation. Restock Scanners. Barcode Printer. Biometric Identification. Medication Delivery. Automated Pre-packaging machine (PacMed). Intellishelf Software. Filling Stations. Automation Decision Support Training at corporate location for 5 medical center employees from Pharmacy, Nursing and Bio-Med. Maintenance Service Agreements for Automation Hardware and Software. Shipping. Implementation Fees; for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.
The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability. All inquiries received by the Government by 3:00 P.M. Mountain Daylight Time, May 22, 2008, may be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing by mail.
