This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared and processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This is a Solicitation from the United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Logistics Support Center (NLSC), located in Kansas City, MO needs a vendor to provide five hundred (500) Gearmotor, 4 VDC, 3.72 RPM, F&P; Belfort Model No. 165K002U01, Rev 8 or equivalent, NSN: 6660-00-916-1274, ASN: D550-B101. This constitutes the only Request for Quote (RFQ), written offers are being requested; and a written RFQ will not be issued. DOC, CRAD requires that all contractors doing business with this office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). No award can be made to a company not registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR, please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No. NWWA1200842919CMM. This RFQ and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. The line item(s) will be provided in accordance with the drawing, specifications, and packaging/marking requirements as listed herein. The prices shall be all inclusive of costs. The FAR clauses incorporated into this acquisition shall be: 52.209-4 First Article Approval- Government Testing (Sep 1989) {the Contractor shall deliver 2 unit (s) of the motor, within 30 calendar days from the date of the award, to the Government at the National Reconditioning Center, 1520 E Bannister Road, Kansas City, MO 64131, for first article tests, if the Contractor has not provided the motor to NWS in the past, or if item quoted is equivalent item rather than the part number specified. This is a firm fixed price request for quote.
Description:
Contractor shall provide five hundred (500) Gearmotor, 4 VDC, 3.72 RPM, F&P; Belfort Model No. 165k002U01, Rev 8 or equivalent. All items quoted must meet the salient characteristics as outlined in DWG NO D550-B101-DR001 to be considered equivalent.
Inspection will be performed at the Government facility (NRC for first articles and NLSC for name brand articles) before acceptance. Items shall be delivered in accordance with NWS special packaging/marking requirement (see attachment A).
Price should be quoted FOB Destination basis to Kansas City, MO.
NOTE: THE ABOVE ARE MIMUMUM REQUIREMENTS.
