Synopsis:

This Amendment 0001 to the combined solicitation/synopsis W25G1V-08-R-0006 is to make changes to the solicitation Statement of Work, answer contractor questions, and extend the offer due date. Reference Statement of Work, Basic Requirement, Paragraph 2, add the following: Pump free flow GPM should be 10 min to 13 max; Hose Reel to be a High Capacity Heavy Duty Reel; Pipe Size: 5/8 inch ID. Dispensing Valves for Antifreeze: mechanical non-metered dispenser with a fixed extension non drip tip; for 15W-40 Motor Oil, 80-90 Gear Oil, and Dextron 3: heavy duty mechanical metered with a flexible extension and non drip tip. The offer due date is extended: Delete 30 April 2008 at 4:00 P.M; Add 08 May 2008 at 4:00 P.M. Contractor questions received with the Government answers:
Q1. Has a pump ratio and free flow, gallons per minute rating for the pump been specified?
A1. Free flow GPM should be 10 min to 13 max. See Statement of Work, Basic Requirements, para 2 above

Q2. Standard duty hose reels typically have a hub assembly and hose guide roller assembly that is supported only on one side of the reel. Heavy duty reels support the hub and roller assembly on both sides of the reel. Is there a specification regarding this preference?
A2. A High Capacity Heavy Duty Reel is required. See Statement of Work, Basic Requirements, Para 2 above.

Q3. Correct pipe sizing will promote better flow of the fluids? Has a pipe size been specified?
A3. 5/8 inch ID. See Statement of Work, Basic Requirements, Para 2 above.

Q4. Has the type of dispense valve been specified for each fluid (non-metered, standard meter, pre-set meter)?
A4. Antifreeze will use a mechanical non-metered dispenser with a fixed extension non-drip tip. 15W-40 Motor Oil, 80-90 Gear Oil, and Dextron 3 will use a Heavy Duty mechanical metered dispenser with a flexible extension and non-drip tip that can measure in pints, quarts and gallons. The meters dial will be color coded per designated fluid as follows: Gear Oil (Red Dial); Motor Oil (Blue Dial); ATF (Green Dial; Antifreeze (White color coded extension). See Statement of Work, Basic Requirement, para 2 above.

All other terms, conditions, and requirements of the solicitation remain the same.
