NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FOR
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES
RFP NO. CDC08-533
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (Commission), until Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. for property management services for the complete operation services of East Los Angeles Children s Center located at 4824 Civic Center, Los Angeles, CA 90022. This property consists of a one story office building containing approximately 6,000 square feet. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Commission s Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents.
The Commission may award a one-year contract with the option of four, one-year extensions, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available. Proposers are strongly encouraged to attend a Proposer s meeting on July 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. located at 4800 Cesar Chavez Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90022. A site walk at the East Los Angeles Children s Center will follow.
Copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) complete with submission requirements and the cost sheet, will be available on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The RFP may be examined at the Community Development Commission, Reception Desk, 2 Coral Circle, Monterey Park, CA 91755-7425 or may be downloaded from the Community Development Commission s website at www.lacdc.org, under Doing Business with Us View Open Solicitations .
Proposers shall provide an original and five (5) copies of their business proposal and original and one (1) copy of their cost proposal, which shall be delivered and addressed to:

No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. Proposals received after the scheduled deadline will be
returned unopened. Proposers, who, upon request, receive the Request for Proposals
Property Management Services package and do not wish to submit a proposal, should reply with a letter of No Proposal by the deadline indicated above.

In submitting a proposal, each proposer thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard contract, a sample of which is attached to the RFP package for reference. The Commission shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any proposer who refuses to execute said standard Commission contract.
The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. This RFP is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The Commission is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent s proposal. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFP. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the Commission reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the Proposals.
