Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price contract for hazardous waste removal. Contractor shall provide transportation, treatment, storage and disposal of the non-radioactive hazardous waste from bldg. 100, second floor laboratory at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, Florida 33744. Waste to be shipped offsite to include RQ Waste Flammable Liquids, n.o.s. (xylene, methanol, UN1993, PGH (D001,F003). Pricing will be based on five-gallon drums with a monthly estimate of 28 drums. All information for this solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be available. This solicitation is 100% set-aside to small businesses under the NAICS code 562211. All prospective bidders must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov/index.cfm. We anticipate issuing the solicitation on or about August 14, 2008 with a closing date on or about August 29, 2008.
